Welcome to lathiat.net, home page of Trent "Lathiat" Lloyd (トレント). Here you can find information about me, articles & talks I have published and other random information.

I am currently employed as a MySQL Technical Support Engineer for MySQL AB Sun Microsystems Oracle Corporation and I am also Director & Lead Developer for Web In A Box. I also volunteer my time on the non-profit assocation boards of Bur.st Networking, Inc., Red Flag Lan Fest, Inc. and the Perth Artifactory, Inc..

I am an active member of the free software community, I use Debian & Ubuntu Linux in my server environments - but my main desktop is a Macbook Pro running Mac OS X. I am also co-author of the Avahi project, an LGPL-free implementation of Apple's mDNS/DNS-SD standard (otherwise known as 'Bonjour').
